Introverts Can't Join Organization? ArgUMent’s answer it
My name is M. Ahleyani, faculty of engineering 2020. Many people still don't understand what introverts are. Some people equate introverts with shyness, even though the two are not at all the same. There are so many statemeant that say introverts can't join the organization. And now, I want to answer the statemenat with argUMent’s. ArgUMent’s, which is an organization at the University of Mataram. Where I learned a lot not just material, but I also learned to be human and get out of my comfort zone as an introvert. I want to answer this opinion with an argUMent’s that it is not true at all and is not based on any theory. It's true, introverts are different from extroverts who are more able to carry the atmosphere. However, that doesn't mean introverts can't join in the organization. An example is me, an introvert who finds a home to process.
In the argUMent, I learned a lot of things, which I rarely met people before. But, cause of the argUMent’s I'm more able to balance myself. Argument’s gave me a lot of knowledge. Whether it's dividing time and taking on a given responsibility and trust. This is my story and the argument to answer that statement. And maybe there are some thoughts that don't match my current writings and opinions. However, I want to say. That this is true is the story of my life, and my experience with argUMent’s. Even though it's not stated, I can feel the positive environment that exists in the argument and for it. I want to be more adventurious with more argUMent’s. There are some statements too, which can refute these statements. If we look at the organizational construct of the argument, it is indeed a collection of people who have one goal and strive to achieve that goal, and come from different personality backgrounds. And without thinking, sometimes we represent anyone who deserves to be involved in the organization are people who are good at speaking, good at public speaking, whose actions in the field are cool, in pouring ideas are always brilliant and dare to convey. So, a performance is only given to people who are typically people who like to hang out.
As a result, there is a discrimination in our role as introverts against a space that we both call the organization, namely people who are typically; likes to be alone, is not easy to get along with, difficult to express opinions in public, which Carl Gustav Jung later said as an introvert. Where as an introvert is more focused inward: thoughts, feelings, and actions are mainly determined by subjective factors. Indeed, his adjustment to the outside world was not very good; closed soul, difficult to get along with, difficult to relate to other people, less able to attract the hearts of others. However, adjustment to his own mind is good. No wonder, if some people think that introverts are not suitable for joining the organization. How come? It is difficult for them to gather alone, while to achieve organizational goals, all members must be required to come together and play a role. Then I must say that introverts still have room to be able to play a role in organizations. How to? argUMent’s is the answer. We first understand together the concept of an organization. I still remember very well, with the statement of an expert, "the most important functions in the construction of an organization are divided into 3, namely: drafters, executors and people."
The conceptor functions as an initiator or who formulates ideas, people as the driving force of the masses so that activities can be carried out, then the executor acts as the person who executes in the field; as a person moves to run according to the concept that has been formulated. Then where are the introverts in order to have a role in an organization? Based on the formulation of H.J. Eysenck first. Viewed from the advantages, Eysenck said that in general introverts have relatively high intelligence, good vocabulary, thorough and tend to stay on their feet and not easily shaken. Leaving aside the impossibility of the role of an introvert in an organization, it turns out that there is a side that an introvert can use to be able to act as an organizer. Correlating again from Sokran's opinion with Eysenck's, I found a correlation that allows an introvert to play a role in the organization. And I have proven that with argUMent’s organizations that are willing to give a lot of space to be able to contribute. In the argument there is no discernible difference, whether you are someone who is an introvert, an extrovert or an ambivert.
UKM argUMent wants to accept all people who want to process together and realize dreams and aspirations in a positive environment. And do you know where the connection lies? That's right, it's in the role of a drafter for an introvert. What does the drafter need? The main thing is a high intelligence capacity, introverts are thinkers, there is no doubt that millions of concepts can be formulated by introverts. People who are able to conceptualize is something important that must be owned by an organization. Likewise with accuracy. If we've heard the story of Alan Turing, it would be fairer to deal with introverts. It is possible that in the composition of an organization, introverts are able to contribute to the progress of an organization. Difficulty in socializing is not an absolute obstacle, it can be faced with various alternative solutions, as is my experience in argUMent’s. Therefore, I am very grateful to be able to find a house that can accommodate me to be able to develop and process with positive people who do not see the difference. And this is just the beginning of my journey with argUMent’s. There will be many new journeys that I will carve with argUMent’s in the future.
